Actress Megan Boone starred as FBI agent Elizabeth Keen on NBC's The Blacklist. But Boone made her final appearance as a regular cast member in the season eight finale on June 23, 2021. Megan Boone is a 38-year-old American actress, originally from Petoskey, Michigan. However, she grew up in a retirement community in Florida called The Villages because her parents wanted to live closer to her grandparents.
Her grandfather, American billionaire Harold Gary Morse, was the developer of the said town. This community is notorious for being home to swingers.
Swingers are individuals with a sexual proclivity to swapping mates for an evening. There is even a documentary about this community, which appeared at Sundance, titled Some Kind of Heaven. Today, Megan stands at 5’5” (165 cm), and she is mostly of German and English descent with Dutch and Scottish also thrown in. She gained her interest in acting at the age of seven when her grandparents took her to a Broadway play in New York City starring Nathan Lane.

James Spader portrays Raymond (Red) Reddington, a criminal mastermind who unexpectedly begins working with law enforcement, and Megan Boone plays FBI agent Liz. The synopsis declares that Liz must contemplate how far she will go to figure out Reddington's motives and true intentions. It continues that the rift between Reddington and Liz will cause destruction to those around them, including the Task Force they built up. Both Spader and Boone were part of the original cast of The Blacklist when it premiered in 2013, but Boone did not return for the ninth season.

Before joining The Blacklist in 2013, Boone appeared in Law & Order: Los Angeles from 2010-2011, as well as Sex And The City 2 in 2010. Boone has also starred in several independent films, including Stephen Elliott's Cherry in 2012.
She also appeared in Adele Romanski's drama Leave Me Like You Found Me, winning the Best Actor Award at the 2012 Gen Art Film Festival. The actress was also seen in the Amazon limited series The Underground Railroad released in 2021, which is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Colson Whitehead.
In 2021, she launched her own production company, Weird Sister, and signed a deal with Sony Pictures Television. Boone said of the company: "Weird Sister is woman-led and embraces difference.
"I view alternative perspectives and abnormalities as essential strengths in the people I collaborate with, the character-driven stories I want to tell and the unique worlds I look forward to crafting with a diverse team of collaborators.” In 2023, she appeared in Fox crime drama Accused.
