Mei's companion Priya is an Indo-Canadian with deadpan line delivery. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, best known for portraying Devi in the Netflix comedy Never Have I Ever, provides the voice of Priya. The series has been renewed for season 3 and season 4, which will be it's last.

Mei's Korean-Canadian buddy Abby always has her back and believes the red panda-like Mei is adorable. Hyein Park, a storyboard artist for Pixar who has worked on movies like Toy Story 4, and the short film Bao, and Soul, provides the voice of Abby. She made her voice-acting debut in Becoming Red.

#1. Orion Lee as Jin Lee
Mei's father, Jin, is portrayed by Orion Lee, a well-known stage and movie actor. The actor is best remembered for his performances in First Cow, Skyfall, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It's probable that because of these roles, audiences recognized his voice.
#2. Wai Ching Ho as Mei's grandmother

#6. Josh Levi as Aaron Z.
Aaron Z. is a member of 4*Town. Josh Levi is known for roles in Friday Night Lights and the series Royal Crush.

The second Aaron in 4*Town is Aaron T. Topher Ngo's acting debut in Becoming Red.
#8. Finneas O'Connell as Jesse
Finneas O'Connell in the role of Jesse is the fourth member of 4*Town. Finneas O’Connell co-wrote the boy band’s songs. His performances in Glee, Modern Family, and Bad Teacher are most notable.
