While Bayley's family might not have realized when she was growing up how much she resembled a certain well-known cartoon dog, it didn't take the internet long to figure it out. With her fluffy white face, floppy black ears, and big nose - all of which perfectly mimic the cartoon dog's features - Bayley recently stole the hearts of animal enthusiasts on social media.

Snoopy is the famously silent dog that originated in the “Peanuts” comic strip by Charles M. Schulz in October of 1950. He also appeared in various “Peanuts” television specials and has been a fixture as a giant balloon in New York City’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Snoopy is supposed to be a beagle. Bayley is a sheepadoodle, a cross between an English sheepdog and a poodle, and yet the pair look exactly alike, from their coloring to the shape of their faces to their adorable little noses. Snoopy and Bayley are basically twins.

Bayley first gained notoriety as a dog after being featured on the well-known "Doodle Dogs Club" account, which put a picture of the dog next to a cartoon character to show how similar the two are in reality. The caption of the now-viral post said, "With those big ears and that button nose, Bayley is the perfect real-life version of our favorite cartoon dog."

Despite Bayley's uncanny resemblance to Snoopy, she is just an ordinary dog. She likes playing with toys, eating the occasional pup cup, and enjoying special occasions with her family. She’s just a big, fluffy lovebug, and maybe a tad bit less mischievous than Snoopy.
