The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 4 will be much shorter than the last installment, and it is likely to focus back on the main characters. For a rare occurrence, the title of Episode 4 has been revealed prior to its airing. This small piece of information could suggest that this week will be dedicated to exploring Grogu's background further. This is in line with the season's focus on expanding the Star Wars universe.

At 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Wednesday, March 22, Disney+ will be airing the fourth episode of The Mandalorian Season 3, "Chapter 20: The Foundling", which was written by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni and directed by Carl Weathers. Weathers also plays Greef Karga on the show. In this episode, Din Djarin and Grogu continue their journey together while the New Republic attempts to lead the galaxy in a positive direction. They will encounter old allies and new enemies throughout their travels.

Actor and director Carl Weathers (you’ll recognize him onscreen as Greef Karga) recently treated fans to a surprise by revealing on Twitter the title of the upcoming episode he directed. The title of Season 3 Episode 4 of The Mandalorian is “The Foundling,” which might give a big hint about the plot of this week’s installment.
Given that Grogu is Din’s foundling, it makes the most sense that the episode would focus on Baby Yoda. After all, we still don’t know exactly how he managed to escape the Jedi purge — and we did get some Order 66 flashback action hinted at in the season trailer. Perhaps this episode might even see Grogu inducted into the Children of the Watch.
Last week’s events could also frame Bo-Katan as a symbolic foundling, after her return back into a pack of fellow Mandalorians. Who the real foundling of Episode 4 is will be revealed soon enough!

The Mandalorian Season 3 will see the return of Pedro Pascal as the titular hero. The cast includes Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze and Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, among others.
Season 3’s directorial lineup features returning filmmakers Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, and Bryce Dallas Howard, along with Star Wars newcomers Lee Isaac Chung (Minari), Peter Ramsey (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), and Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison.
The Mandalorian hails from executive producers Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck. Favreau is also set as the showrunner and one of its directors.
