How Long Do These Animals Pregnancies Last?

Human pregnancy lasts 40 weeks on average. This provides mothers plenty of time to come up with a name, buy all the newborn necessities, and set up a nursery. Elephants have a 95-week gestation span! That's more than double the length of a human pregnancy. Elephants have four calves in their lives as a result of this.
