    The 5 Cat Personality Types

    #1. The Human Cat

This cat has done a good job of sharing its space with a human. It enjoys being around you, is affectionate, and is largely happy and well-adjusted. In many ways, this cat is the ideal pet because it will enjoy your company without resorting to aggression or violence. On the other hand, a human cat may not enjoy being among other animals and may be more prone to separation anxiety.

    #2. The Cantankerous Cat

The human cat is in opposition to this. While not a feral cat, the cantankerous cat doesn’t really like to be touched, picked up, or interacted with. These animals are usually skittish and nervous and may never be fully comfortable sharing your home with you.

They are independent creatures, so they won’t mind if you’re gone all day. Also, any affection that your cantankerous cat does decide to give you will be worth way more than what you get from a human cat.

    #3. The Hunter Cat

Among all the personality kinds, this one comes the closest to being a stray cat. Hunter cats spend the majority of their time chasing mice or sneaking up on toys that resemble mice. They spend the majority of their waking hours attempting to find food because they don't seem to understand that you will offer all of their meals for free.

Hunter cats may or may not tolerate affection, but they are typically much more motivated by the chance to kill something than they are by feelings of love.

    #4. The Cat’s Cat

These cats are kind to their fellow felines and prefer to spend the majority of their time playing, snuggling, and grooming other cats. Cat’s cats may also love humans, but they prefer the company of other kitties. Obviously, they do well in multi-cat households, and they may become depressed if kept as only cats.

    #5. The Inquisitive Cat

These cats enjoy going on adventures and spend most of their days sniffing the house. Visitors are welcomed right away and given a thorough inspection; while they may or may not accept affection from them, they will undoubtedly be carefully investigated.

With toys, especially items like boxes, bags, and mazes, inquisitive cats do well. They tend to struggle as outdoor cats because of their boldness and confidence, which might cause them to get into mischief.
